Dr. Krista Gasbarro Rankin completed both her undergraduate degree and her dental school education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery with Honors in 2005. She is a member of the American Dental Society, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the Charlotte Dental Society.
A native Charlottean, she thrives on establishing a warm and friendly atmosphere for her patients. Dr. Rankin loves to provide quality dental care to each patient and enjoys the relationships that develop as a result. Although she enjoys family practice the most, she has experience in a variety of different areas in dentistry, including helping patients who struggle with snoring and sleep apnea. She has also completed rotations in both hospital and pediatric dentistry.
She is passionate about service and enjoys volunteering through her church and Agape Dental Ministry. Dr. Rankin and her husband have three children and two basset hounds, whose favorite activities include taking naps. She loves to cook, enjoys being outdoors, and spending time with her family.
